God writing poetry music laughing learning lately studying the US Constitution n our rights thereunder (Let's just say Get educated!) good conversation debates video games our planet people watching-it's always good 4 a laugh or a learn living life 2 it's fullest playing with my kids staying out of trouble(don't ask lol)

I B a poet, writer, a dreamer n a philosopher by nature, I always have been n always will B, I have been around the world n have seen n learned many things, I loathe negativity n embrace positivity, I love 2 laugh - even though it seems life would rather I cry, I am the type of person that says what people only think and do or have done what most only fantasize about, I wish people would spend more time on loving themselves n their families than worrying about what others think. I would get off on seeing more people smile, I have 3 beautiful (when they R asleep lol) kids. My motto is, Life is short - make it happen, B true 2 Ur self, love U 4 U, as U R, screw what society, magazines or those brainwashed superficial people say Ur a beautiful creation of God, And remember Ur dreams as they Become the life U lead, Always keep the faith and talk 2 me sometime, Peace n much luv, Z

THE WARRIOR OF PAIN
My Master, My Creator
My Father and My Friend
I beseech thee, as the Warrior of Pain
Hear your daughter's cry.
I beseech thee
Mercy on my soul, Lest my soul should die.
For my heart weighs so heavy and my tears pour down like rain.
Oh, place your hand upon me Lord and heal me once again.
My soul, as old as the beginning of time
My faith, tried and true
As I fight for the righteous one
My Lord, my Father - you.
My eyes are dull and lifeless, blackened from the blows
And the blood of the enemy is still wet and dripping from my sword.
As I fall to my knees
I bow my head and close my eyes.
I feel your mercy and love embrace me as they have time after time.
Suddenly, I am renewed.
My shield floats in the air and my heart fills with your love.
As I arise, shinning in your light
Again, this warrior is fit to fight.
And fight I shall.
As it was
is
and ever shall remain
I thank you my Lord, my Father and my Friend
For the privilege of serving you as.....

I was writing in my journal one night, kind of in a reflective state. Every once in a while I get that way. I realized I always prayed to God asking him for things. Like" Please I'll never do it again, I promise (yeah right -lol) or something along those lines. Then it occurred to me that he was already helping me out. He was the only reason I got through all of the 'hard' times and believe me I have seen it all. So I just started writing what was in my heart and it came out like this. After I was finished, I realized that if I were to think of a way to describe myself, the most fitting way would simply be 'The Warrior of Pain'. No matter what the world throws at you, your faith in God will protect you. I pray this poem will help someone. Keep the Faith. Peace Z
